Ian Gatt, chairman of the Scottish Pelagic Sustainability Group and Co-ordinator of MINSA (Mackerel Industry Northern Sustainability Alliance) recently gave a presentation on Mackerel Science to the Seafish Common Language group.
In his presentation he explores the current status of NE Atlantic MSC certification and the moves currently underway to get a better picture of the true state of the stock, and also highlights the vast array of scientific work and support undertaken by the Scottish pelagic sector.
